Participants develop communicative and socio-cultural competencies to better understand and serve the Hispanic community at work settings such as schools, agencies, hospitals, and offices of the Department of Social Services. The program offers four 45-hour courses in four levels:

  • Basic 1,
  • Basic 2,
  • Intermediate.
  • Advanced.
Classes meet twice a week from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Basic 1 and Basic 2 levels meet Monday & Wednesday. Intermediate and Advanced levels meet Tuesday & Thursday.All courses are open subject to enrollment (at least five students per course).

Discount Policy:

  • 20% for Senior citizens.
  • 10% for early bird: placement test and payment must be completed during the early bird periods.
  • Discounts cannot be combined.


How do I enroll in a spanish class?

  • Fill out the online registration form.
  • Take the placement test and oral interview.
  • Pay the cost of the course before the first day of class.
Where can I book the online interview? You can book the online interview by visiting the following link Do I receive a certificate after completing the course? After completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion. However, this is not a certification. How do I know what is my level of spanish? At the end of the oral interview, the spanish teacher will let you know what level you have placed at. Your level is decided based on the placement test results and your oral interview.

Tuition (45 hours per course): $520 USD *Prices do not include books.


Participants interested in joining any of our Spanish programs need to schedule an interview. Participants with previous Spanish language experience are advised to take a placement test.
